Just the ones that say the opposite of what they mean.

He's got a beard. That alone should be enough to put him on the Terrorist Watch List.

He shaved it off, or at least in the Candidacy thread there's a picture w/out a beard. But shaving off a beard is almost more suspicious than having a beard in the first place.

Ramzi Yousef drank, shagged around, didn't pray much (unless he was in prison,) and didn't have a beard.

Bin Laden praised as he live like this as a warrior for Islam.

"I could care less" is sarcasm, something that americans allegedly don't get. Since John Cleese is acerbicly sarcastic I would assume he would get it.

Well, bully for you if that's the way you use it, but most people I hear saying it need to do some serious work on their sarcastic tone of voice.

On the other hand, maybe John Cleese was being sarcastic.

really.

The gunfire around us makes it hard to hear. But the human voice is different from other sounds. It can be heard over noises that bury everything else. Even when it's not shouting. Even when it's just a whisper. Even the lowest whisper can be heard - -over armies... when it's telling the truth.

That was damn sexy. I think we're at the stage where we can easily render something as..."organically" complicated as a drawing as a standard 3D model. I just hope there're ways to turn down some of the automation in the program, for finer control.

This would bridge a lot of gaps in production. Concept artists would be able to deliver their ideas in 3D, which would be a very powerful thing. I would have to see how long it would take to draw a human or building interior, so, I am reserving judgment. Looks promising though.

Was der hahn ?!?!?

Not only ideas, but viable 3D models and characters. All the animators would have to do is...animate it. Hell, with that sheet system (for movies at least) maybe you could rope in a buncha Koreans and have them tween it old-school. Which might even save The Simpsons - I don't like that super-fluid Flash-style animation. Well, that would save the animation side of it. You still need some divine intervention to save the writing. And salvage the characters.

Might even increase morale among the concept artists. No game's concept drawings ever end up looking like a the end characters/environments, which must be pretty galling.

Might take a while to sketch a person on it, but in the end, I imagine the end results would be better, and it'd probably end up being faster. And if it does, maybe we can say goodbye to the secondary NPCs in games all having the same shape, height and bone structure! Sure those models will take up more space, but game companies don't tend to get stingy with the DVDs any time soon.

35 Sofas via Design Observer.

Some of them are ugly and/or stupid, but a few of them look really really nice.
