Watch the symbols in the table and which ones are the same after each try.

Each time you click it changes the symbols. That is misdirection. You should notice that the row of numbers 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81 has always the same symbol.

And if you substract its cyphers from a number, you alway get a factor of nine.

Demonstration:

Just consider any integer between 1 and 99 as the sum of 10x + y.

10x+y-x-y = 9x, for any value of x and y.
