Kradlum: I'm absolutely flabbergasted. I also went through a period of thinking I'd made up Freakazoid, only to see it elsewhere. It must have been introduced in one of the weekly subliminal patriotic broadcasts...

Some others...

mungamere (< MUNG Until No Good + -mere = subunit) - the part which is broken [or poorly designed) causing something to malfunction

mungamerize - to assemble some stuff together (like pieces of a gene or a forced jigsaw puzzle) without regard for its ordinary organization

fingerfliushka ( < finger + Russ. fintifliuska = thingummabob) - the act of inserting your finger into a butt [usually your own) for any reason, such as to get at an annoying little itchy bit

cunted - (< originally referring to a key stuck in a lock) an overly versatile term generally meaning "screwed by your own damn fault". Meanings include stumped, stuck, pregnant, and in love.

fengfingnaegel (< ?) - interjection, referring to when careful precautions were taken to ensure that such-and-such a thing could not happen, which just did.

wode - a peculiar, difficult-to-define term suggesting darkness, almost magic, occurring in some combinations. wode lust - the peculiar sense of longing for nothing in particular, satiated by sunlight, induced by borderline deficiency in vitamin D. wode mark - a hidden mark, resembling wear or slight damage, that you might put on something to tell which one it was.

Better post this before something goes wrong, but there are lots and lots more of these to dig out of memory.

Thread Bombing
-- the act of periodically re-posting 100+ lines of verbose, somewhat on-topic material to a thread, adding 1 or 2 lines of text each time, making the thread next to impossible to read.
(see also "carpet bombing", "thread jacking")

Threads are disposable. You should avoid getting attached to them (or picking up robust, almost immortal ones, such as Random, Write Something Now or Pointless).

And I doubt you are the originator of thread bomb and thread bombing. In this forum the tendency however is just to post in all threads. We have had a few of those. Good old Metro.
