Yah, I'll actually go ahead and call this one now. Because:

the :nationality: trade name of the most recent :large corporation: :new product: -- likely to be banned for certain side effects that have just materialized

is far far too Gibsonian not to win.

Honorable mentions to theminx and uber, and for Kenmeers use of Phlegmish.

Aisha....take it away.

PS:Prizes?! Winning the define me thread now requires you provide prizes to your successor? That's so backwards I like it. Give me your address and I'll send you some bones, because exceeding the cost of the contents of a package with it's shipping cost is even more wonderfully backwards. Or maybe a homemade "Cornell" box filled with items from the Lost\Found picture thread. Your choice.

Grentalious an extreme, preemptive, form of talion\talionis.

Rather than waiting for them to commit the crime and then going all "eye for an eye" on them. You speculate what crime they WILL commit and then inflict the presumptive punishment ahead of the fact, as a kind of deterrent.

PS: ain't no way ahm sendin' bones to a charity. that'd be a terroristic act I'm sure. and they'd hunt me down in the streets like Running Man (the book, not the movie).

Grentalious
Etymology: from Grentalicious the number one hit title on the charts for two and a half years; the song was written and the word was coined by the Superband Quasommy Heights (Britney Spears, Ashley Simpson, Milely Cyrus) song writer Silas Mullins to describe the trio itself. Grentalious evolved to describe the mental condition of the 25 year old male fanatic fans that began following the band and started their own cult Grentalica. The cult faded away after the Dixie Chicks and Allison Krause/Robert Plant covered the song.

adj.
the uncontrollable urge to listen to and mimic southern accents

No, I'm pretending I have a life. Also I can't think of a definition good enough to force you to give me the win. But I'll try nonetheless...

grentalious - a liquid taken from the catfish that was originally planned as an ambergris substitute in perfumes and colognes. This plan was nixed due to the fact that the liquid always retained a fishy odor no matter how filtered or disguised.

pleplionic

Brief period in Ancient Greek philosophy when the universe was thought to be shaped like Stephen King's Wang.

Upon being informed that both King and the aforementioned Wang had yet to exist, the theory was rejected.

The late Carl Sagan repopularized the idea in 1977 upon finding the image of Stephen King's Wang refracted in the ice spheres of Saturn. he was not high at the time.

the geologic epoch after Holocene characterized by strata of plastics and polychromatic glass; also the ideology that humans were only created as a catalyst for plastics and global warming

pleplionic - in a state of happy euphoria induced by the mix of 3 cognacs and watching Germany beat Turkey 3-2 in the company of a German friend plus illicit smoking in the Spanish pub in Brussels sporting the requisite fat old-fashioned TV and three French students plus a Moroccan bar-maid dsicussing Miami hotels and world peace (we're all for it); catatonic
