burvum
Islandic plant known from the Saga of Orhilmdyr the Proud.
The burvum is described as a small greyish plant with oval hairy leaves and a distinct smell of sulphur. According to the saga burvum was used as a very strong agent in a drink called burvumar, that was told to give magic forces of foreseing. As the plant is extinct long ago, we have no proof of the magic properties, but we do know, the Vikings used to drink burvumar at birthcelebrations and at the great farewell parties before an expedition. Burvumar was confounded by the christian priests, who started a very effective extermination of the burvum by trading the plant containing its root for a bottle of genuine Italian grapewine.

Burvum
Used to describe the mental state of black metal musicians gone, well, stark raving mad. The word was first used after the main man behind the band Burzum decided to use a fellow musician as a neelde cushion for his favourite bucthers knife. Statisticly speaking, any black metal musician has about a 73% chance of going burvum. Psychologists believe it is due to all the stalking through nightly forests and graveyards.
By the way, one of the symptoms of going burvum is looking utterly moronic.

(and if this would be a metal forum, i'd have death threats by now)

montifigal

This is an unusual concatenation of words from many languages,

mon - French for 'my'
ty - Welsh for 'house'
fi - Arabic for 'has'or 'to have'
gal - American slang for 'girl'

hence Montifigal means 'there is a girl in my house'

The right to bear arms is slightly less ludicrous than the right to arm bears.
