Yeah... that's not a good sign. Pants, no thigh-high boots (if I'm recalling correctly from like a decade ago), and no mean hair. What gives?

Maybe they're going to hand it over to Linklater and crew for Rotoshopping later in the process.

well the positive thing about an aeon flux movie is that it will very likely mean a re-release of the the whole animated series on dvd (only a third of the episodes have been released on dvd).

and could we please have a dvd version of the maxx?

and twice upon a time?

CORPSE BRIDE

New animation from Tim Burton... Looks yummy.

Certainly left me happier than the trailer for Charlie and the Chocolate factory, even if Depp is basing his version of Wonka off Marilyn Manson.

And anything beats the evil that is the new Fantastic Four movie. No, I won't even link to it. Worst trailer ever... 4 EVER

THE JACKET

Hey look, it's Adrien Brody, one of my favorite actors ever! What?!?! Starring in a psychological horror movie, almost my favoritist genre?

SwEEt!!!!!!

Wait, why are the playing horrible nu-metal wrestling music towards the end of the trailer?

StOp!!!!!

Ahhh, too early to tell on this one. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed an American made horror movie. Oh yeah, Cabin Fever. Seems so long ago... crossing my fingers this will break the dry run...

Wasn't Cabin Fever Canadian?

{/me googles}

Apparently not. Bought by Lion's Gate at the Toronto Film Fest, which might be where I got the impression...

You know Bravus as soon as I hit Post Now I thought, wouldn't it be ironic if Cabin Fever was Canadian? But then I remembered Eli Roth's commentary and concluded it was probably not and didn't even bother checking. Not that it would have changed my opinion of the movie either way, just made me look like another dumb American.

Anyone besides me seen the trailer for Constantine with K. Reeves? Looks pretty hardcore. Kind of like he's warding off hell with a vial of Holy Water and a Tek-9...

APPLESEED
Anime fans are probably already familiar with this one.

NOBODY KNOWS
This looks like a really great movie. Not too thrilled over the English title, doesn't seem to fit...

CONSTANTINE
Well, I wasn't as impressed as C. Bradley seems to be by this trailer, but then I saw this one for CURSED . Oh and then the one for ALONE IN THE DARK, and yeah, it suddenly looks a hell of a lot better.

Last but not least is the trailer for VITAL. take note this one is in Japanese only and you'll probably never chance across this at Blockbuster or your local movie theater, ever. Of course if you are as excited as I am about seeing a new Shinya Tsukamoto film you'll find a way.

Isn't he supposed to ward off hell with withering sarcasm and twenty Silk Cut? I mean, machine guns....

Count me out.

Gunner Palace (Quicktime)

This one looks really interesting. I've always liked well-done documentaries, and the story of the war from ground level has a lot of potential to offer.

I'm very excited to see it on a big screen... or at least with an English translation that makes sense. Kudos to the dude who did the translation for the torrent--I sure as hell don't know enough of any foreign language to make a semi-literate foreign language translation--but still... Shakespeare it wasn't!

Assuming it makes it to DVD, I'll be looking to buy that too.

I agree Blueshift, that one looks very interesting. I was quite tempted to include it in my last post but finally didn't since I already had so many and couldn't decide if this was going to be an insightful look into the current situation as seen from the troop's perspective or another thinly veiled piece of propaganda.

Apparently, there will be an Evil Dead 4. And, for some reason, a remake of the first one.
