Cool images, Alli. Diamond point steel is one of my favorite things.

I'll try and get some more r.r. pics in a couple days.

I recommended thermite grenades, but I was overruled.

lol...I've seen similiar scenarios in both Mexico and the Caribbean.

Very fancy new haircut, FP -- and did you know Oslo now has an Illums too?

thanks, Aisha...I was on the way back from the hairdresser to my job and had to use the bathroom!! I was thinking about using another city public toilet (the one under Amagertorv - which is beautiful with polished brass and restroom staff - big contrast to the Christianshavn unisex pissoir - but I didn't have the 2 DKK it costs to use it)

I had no idea there was Illums in Oslo.

Ahh..that's something different...that's Illum's Bolighus (The house of modern living).

I'm not sure if they even have the same owners. Illum's Bolighus is a design mekka - with furniture, houseware, etc. whereas Illum's is your more standard department store with cosmetics, clothing, books, housewear etc.

However they've also got some clothing (very expensive) in Illum's Bolighus, so there are definitely some cross over areas...

Gosh, I never knew there were two!

So the one on Strøget that all us ferry-borne Norwegians go to, inbetween cheap aquavits, that is the Bolighus, right?

I bought my sister a designer elephant there way back in the 80's-

The big one on the corner outlined with red is Illum's the green arrow points approximately to Illum's Bolighus. The red x is the underground public toilet.

The blue line is my swimming route tomorrow.

@ Limulus

The last shot is really good. Somehow surreal.
