I have this idea that the restaurant is called "Wagamama's," and based on that I think it's also a pun, but don't quote me on this. "Waga" can be used as a prefix to mean "mine" or "our", as in wagakuni "our country" or wagamono "one's property." Wagamama could be taken to mean "our/my mother", and "Wagamama's" is then, basically, "Mom's Place."

This theory goes out the window if it is actually called "Wagamama" and not "Wagamama's."

Smashing sound of window breaking as theory goes out it.

Always remember to open it before doing that.
