wow, MOM, what's your film speed? That is some nice grain.

Oh also, lithos? I have acquired a K1000 and I'm shooting a test roll. Love it so far.

He's a Neopan man. A mean one. Also, old. 1600. Wait, that's his film speed, not his age. Though it might be. My head hurts.

Fuji Neopan 1600, but I don't know what developer MOM uses; I just use D-76. Have a crack at it, the whole line's good, but get some Tri-X first. You've got all those cool online photostores like Freestyle, Adorama, BHPhotovideo, et al, so don't skimp. There's probably a dozen good places in SF.

The Fat Duck..

And, because it fascinated us.. the folded toilet roll end. Someone actuall went into the loo each time someone used it, cleaned everything and folded the end of the loo roll!! EVERY TIME!!

Rolls of paper (newsprint, toilet paper, paper towels) are fairly sterile -- sterilized by the heat of the shaping and rolling process and protected from ambient bacteria by the outward layers.

Until some unknown person manipulates it with their filthy hands so it looks nice.

Never liked those open-ended roll holders. Too easy for, uh, mishaps to happen.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I declare war on all icons and finalities, on all histories
that would chain me with my own falseness, my own pitiful fears.
I know only moments, and lifetimes that are as moments,
and forms that appear with infinite strength, then "melt into air."
I am an architect, a constructor of worlds,
a sensualist who worships the flesh, the melody,
a silhouette against the darkening sky.

Now don't get cheeky, Goat, if RoboPope were around he'd teach you to respect die Alliierten.
And your presence is sorely needed on the Twitter grapevine.
