Sorry, CP, I just checked my email and it didn't get here yet. (You didn't mention pen1s extension in the title, did you, because I delete them unopened.)

Please send again, and copy to gil at amazontribe dot co dot uk, in case my email server has taken a dislike to your email server.

Ahem. It is spelt Ebeneezer.

But yeah, I'm voting for that, too!

It's all gravy. I always think of the Dickens character, myself. All those American Christmas specials that recycle every December. And that stupid Tiny Tim....

Ebenezer Oldman is fine
Ignatius Oldman is fine

Ignatius sound less "Biblical"...

Funny you should say that! I thought Ignatius immediately signified Catholic, after the saint.

Ebenezer on the other hand sounds like Scrooge to me, not biblical at all. Razz

You're true.

But Ignatius/Inácio would be significant for the Catholic population that around here is far less "devote" than the Evangelic.

On the other hand, Evangelic just love to name their children after people in the Old Testament.

I'm feeling kind of guilty abut hijacking Gil's thread. And thinking there ought to be a thread with a poll of some kind.
One that has the option "Bravus Oldman". Razz

Nah, he just died because he was such a weak little cripple. The starvation didn't help either.

Nah! It's great. It keeps the thread rolling without me having to beg for submissions all the time. However, M O M, if it takes you this long to decide on a single word with a choice of just two or three, I can expect your submission in, what, 2022?

Oh, and I should add that I am getting about one submission a day now, so things are looking up.

This is to announce the first issue of Mythaxis magazine.

Typos etc. can still be corrected - that's the joy of internet publication, but the stories are in place.

Enjoy!

I've been doing a little prospecting in Write Something Now, and have, indeed, solicited submissions from a couple of people, but there is more talent out there - send me your stuff!
