yay! good news.
for anyone who doesn't know, i have a piece in this issue, illustrated by my brother. not the piece i had originally intended to submit, but thats how these things work. its short, and tight, and i'm pretty pleased with the result.

oh. and good to see more familiar names in there

Rather later than I wished... the June (oops) July issue of Mythaxis is now available, containing, among other items, another story from remote.

Short stories with an sf or fantasy theme. Artwork, cartoons, serious critical reviews of a specific author or genre.

It'll be October for the next one. I can take submissions up till end-September.

Traffic is still pretty low - about 2300 unique visits, but it's building. I haven't yet persuaded Boing Boing to take an interest.

I wrote them twice, they suck.

i posted on whitechapel for the last two issues. first got zero response, second time i got a couple.

looking at draft of next piece its rougher than i thought, but should still be sorted by september. and checked brother's schedule, think he should be ok for that for illustration as well, though he has other projects on.

how about other submissions, i was under impression before that you had plenty last time we discussed that?

I'm out of sci-fi but I have a novel excerpt that has sci-fi elements...

Sure, I still have stories I haven't used. Various reasons:
o multiple stories from single author;
o need too much editing;
o way too long;
o too fantasy, not enough sf
o etc
