Any Frazetta Conan. These covers helped resurrect Howard's titular hero.

Actually, the video I posted of his talk was the first time I had registered the name, although apparently I've been seeing and noticing his book covers for a long time. Very talented, and a very entertaining speaker. |

That UK one is good but I think the original US Vintage is spot on: |

Splendorous, englishvoodoo. Anything complexly mechanical earns my vote.
And the Penguin editions some of you are thinking about posting. with of course many many eligible variations! Many of the 50's & 60's modernist treatises were bound by reliably typographical essays -- one of my favorites, and the always more human Many more of his. On to the cheeky aisle: at first, you'll think, "now aren't Mickey Spillane's covers suitably cheeky, too?" -- The answer is no -- to my tastes. They're a bit generic. Back to random: can't get enough of these issues, Some seriously savage covers, Usually the same wavy masthead appears over this art -- I prefer it without! The title is "Resurrection Day" -- (a very Tanite sarcophagus!) and . . . THIS EDITION ONLY: despite claims for then my favorite of Laurel's "big V and stripes" series, some may prefer the more earthy, burnished autumnals of his SL5. This cover nearly made it, save the drop shadows and blurbs. Again my antiquarian favorites -- just a simple reinvocation this round. The inside cover, Whew! This message has been edited.
