On the 19th of september (all things going as planned) I will board a plane for Amsterdam, thus begining my two month trip to Europe. From the netherlands me and my brother will travel through Germany south and east, terminating at Budapest. From there we will follow the coast, through Italy, to Spain and Portugal.

Highlights, Details and photos will follow as they happen, and as I stop being lazy. If any Wiggbers happen to be interested and in the area as dates are posted, I'd love to meet some more of us in person.

First up will be photos of my new Merrell hiking shoes from the MEC, as soon as i find the digital camera. Let the excitment begin.

When in Budapest, be sure to eat some jokai bableves (bean, sausage, etc. stew that's to die for) and sample some apricot brandy. Don't bother drinking Unicum.

Have fun!

Unicum. :|

Chat, I can drop off some spying material, as I'll be in Buda from the 7th for over a week.

We could also practice some synch-photos ;]

synch-photo: A digitally manipulated photo consisting of two pictures taken by two individuals at the same location but at a different time, combined into an image that appears to be a photo of two people taken at the same time.

Anyway, good luck on your trip!

Chat,

e-mail me a timetable when you are going to be where.

My time is limited, but if I am around the corner, I will make time.

All dates and what not shall be made clear as of this weekend (I hope). My brother is over, and we are having a big conference to hammer out all the train traveling and actual dates and stuff. its funny, we've been planing this trip for almost ayear, but I don't think we've actually done any planning other than "europe, that sounds cool" and "couple of months should be good".

What can I say, organization and structure are my life.

Edit: dear god, i just spelt planning two different ways in one paragraph. I think I shall leave it there for posterity.

So the tickets have been purchased and I am locked in. I now fly from Vancouver, through montreal, to Paris on the 19th of september.

Tonight, if I can make the digital camera work, I shall add some photos.

Hey if you can stay gone through November you may miss all of the nauseating mid-term campaign advertisements that are starting to clog my favorite tv shows!

this has been a paid advertisement paid for by the campaign to elect editengine lord of acid, master of the universe, and the official bad ass motherfucker of the wgb.

Seems I'll be attending an... Egyptology conference in... Budapest. From Thursday till Sunday.

Only if we can strike a deal with the man who wants me to be his translator over there.

Yeah, there's something fishy about that Hungarian thing... Keeps drawing me nearer and nearer...

(meanwhile, I managed to translate 70+k characters in 24 hrs and maintain sanity)

(HAHAHa, I WAS KIDDING, HWHAHA)

Very cool. We're going to be hanging out in paris all day on the 19th and 20th, before hopefully catching some sort of night train to amsterdam, if such a thing exists.

Sadly I don't think I'll be hitting eastern europe till mid-late october.
