Well, Canada has a wide range of exports. Obviously they don't export only asses, they also export nerds.

Judging by the Brits we get over here, I think there was an exchange program.

Americans have been quite happy to find that, over the past few years, the behavior of the increasing numbers of Aussie tourists around the world have made us look better than we used to. Smile

At least you can just ignore them. They try to make friends with me.

Do you mean to oktober fest, or jsut the europe run in general? I am currently runnin gon a budget of roughly 30 euros a day. I am actually using less than that most days, butme and the bro use only hostels, plus illegl camping and not eating much. We feel like the budget travel kings, although I am sure somebody out there an put us to shame.

The trip is going very well, although internet access is getting harder to find, or at least harder to access. It seems to be quite expensive in italy ingerenal, and far to expensive in Venice. Venice, by the way, is fantastic, if over price, and something of laborinth. i suggest avery detailed map for anyone who might want to go. Also, any restuarant you go to is going to over charge you on principale(spelling??).

I highly recomend Budapest a both a delightful city, and an affordable palce to stay. Very walkable. The hostel we stayed at, thogh ahrd to find, ahd a very informal and community oriented atmosphere. Museum House Hostel I think it was called. Well worth the trouble to find. My best to the board.

30 a day including sleeping is rather good indeed. I doubt if i did better while traveling through Spain and Portugal last year.

Oh and yes. If you really want to be a budget traveller king you should probably look into the whole couch surfing thing.
