Today at work, I used the expression "It's a doozy" in a conversation with an American colleague.

My husband asked me "What's doozy mean?"

I tried to look it up in a hard-copy (paper) dictionary as our computer was occupied with - believe it or not - rendering footage!

Anyway I realized I wasn't sure how to spell doozy.

I tried:

doozie
doozy
dozy
doosie
dousie
dewsy
duzi

but I still couldn't find it in our paper dictionary.

After a view of Sex and the City and a computer which was finished rendering, I was able to google "doozie" and "doosey" and "doozy" and stumbled across the expression "Doozy World".

Get a loud of the source of this expression:

Earth’s Sequential Abandonment by Terra-creatures
and Subsequent New Niche-creation (Space Habitats)

Draft version.

Happy Reading!

Get me a beer once, as long as you're up yet!

dusenburg. Type of car from the '20s Very nice car, absolutely top of the line. So, really knock out nice things were called doozies. it's migrated a little from the original meaning, but that's it.

Originally, I'm from Buncombe County, NC. We had a state rep, way long ago, who talked too much and rarely said anything of value. That's where the term 'A bunch of bunk' comes from. I like to think that I'm true to my heritage.

Very gatsby. But I love cars from that era. Something very...unapologetic...about them.
