I actually wasn't thinking of either Live Shit or Garage Inc, actually. I had the 9 studio albums and was trying to convey the idea that pretty much anything at all is better than St Anger.

There is a motion on the floor! May I have a seconder?

(My callsign was Lima 5 for an entire summer, once. My favorite one, though, was "Leopold".)

I think Load is an underappreciated masterpiece. The only thing really wrong with it was the band- name on the cover.

I only listened to it once, right when it came out. I may have had some expectations that weren't met and written it off.

I'll re-listen.

I guess the trick is to not go in expecting metal. Solid hard rock, yeah, but not metal(lica). I get what they were trying to do with it, i see it as a kind of journey into the roots of american rock music. There are a lot of influences from blues in there just below the surface; some country too (in a totally not lame sort of way). They pull it off very well. But it just wasn't what anybody was hoping from Metallica.

Now, for as great as i think Load was... Reload should have never seen the light of day, except for maybe an extra mini album in a special edition of Load.
