Ah, bourbon, my spirit of choice (after I came to my senses and stopped drinking OP rum).

I'm so hungover this morning that this thread makes my hair hurt.

snap!

robw, bourbon? i would never have picked it. i used to like a bit of OP with lemonade, just to be awkward (and anti-cola)

(edit: the panda! is it jim beam's take on the bundy polar bear or do you think marshy's been dreaming about you?)

How the sweet antediluvian rimjob did I manage not to start this thread?

Right now I'm drinking a lovely glass of cool water while I wait for the newly-set mousetrap by the back door to become full. Earlier this evening, the AC family met a friend and his daughter at that modern suburban Gehenna, Peter Piper Pizza, where the finest brew available was Miller Genuine Draft. Just delightful with cardboard-tasting pizza and skee ball.

Last weekend I made the acquaintence of a new favorite:

Tomorrow I think I'll dig into the pint of Knob Creek bourbon that Mrs AC got for helping out the local free fishwrap with their annual best-of issue. I only hope I can wait until after work.

Bwahahaha! That reminds me of a story about our local fishwrap that one of my graphic art buddies told me. He used to do occasional ad work for them and one week he got the weirdest request from them.

The request? Photoshop a Hooters t-shirt onto a topless model for an ad...

We had this thread twice, one of them quite long lasting.

Which shows that the saying "Those who ignore History are bound to repeat it" applies also to web forums.

November 2003

June 2004-April 2005

My tastes have not changed since then...
