Foster's oil can #2. Don't worry Aussies, I know it's not the best representative of your island nation's beer output. It is, however, reasonably cheap and much better than Budweiser.

With dinner, a couple of glasses of Skillogalee Reisling, from Clare Valley, Australia. A little sweet, with a dry finish (though our favorite is Reilly's Reisling, also Clare Valley. Dry as a bone!)

i love the Hoegaarden. that and GIB Hefeweizen make for ootstanding summer drinking.

and while i'm on the subject, the weather here has been totally sweet. been drinking Caesars by the metric assload in celebration.

I'm a huge fan of almost all beers belgian....

but lately i've been drinking a bunch of californian zinfandel (the red kind)

The reserve bottles from ravenswood vineyard in CA are delicious....

and also, being in brooklyn, i can't escape the entity that is brooklyn brewery....they do make a pretty good ale though
