Foster's oil can #2. Don't worry Aussies, I know it's not the best representative of your island nation's beer output. It is, however, reasonably cheap and much better than Budweiser.

With dinner, a couple of glasses of Skillogalee Reisling, from Clare Valley, Australia. A little sweet, with a dry finish (though our favorite is Reilly's Reisling, also Clare Valley. Dry as a bone!)

I'm a huge fan of almost all beers belgian....
but lately i've been drinking a bunch of californian zinfandel (the red kind) The reserve bottles from ravenswood vineyard in CA are delicious.... and also, being in brooklyn, i can't escape the entity that is brooklyn brewery....they do make a pretty good ale though |
