Cherry Beer. Not bad but more something for people who usually don't drink beer.

For St. Patty's Day I tried out Bushmill's Irish Whiskey, which surprised me with it's smoothness. I also had Miller High Life, which is my favorite low brow beer.

Tonight I had some tasty RC (Royal Crown) cola and lots of water.

ooooh I like Bushmills!

Because it's entirely Newromancer's fault I'm drinking Murphy's. Smile

I don't really like that it only comes in cans (here in America/in my area) but it's yummy! And I'd really like to win the lottery and go to Cork and try it there, where it's proper!

Mariage Freres redbush with vanilla (Bourbon) -- needs a long steep like all rooibus

Winding down from the Midnight Mass and adult baptism for teenage niece (followed by wine and cheese -- noticed the altar wine was on display in a normal wine glass in the vestry: nearly had a swig-- but we managed to wait till back at brother's.)

Seems its traditional on Easter Eve.

(We're State Church Protestants (which often means agnostic in Norway), but everything is connected--)

Been trying out some of the energy drinks on the market. I've largely ignored them in the past, save a bleary night of vodka and Red Bulls. Something pulled me into grabbing one the other night at a gas station and I enjoyed it.

I tried the Monster Khaos and found it to be pleasureable. Tonight I trying one of the new AMP beverages and the flavor was ok initially, but the more I drank the less excited I became. On the upside drinking those things does seem to curtail my appetite some and I eat less. Not sure if it offsets the caloric intake of actually drinking the energy drink itself, but whatever.

I drank the dregs of one of those. They are so pretty but brew the tea too much. I'm of two minds about it, but mostly -- life is too short to drink rubbish tea. How many pots of tea I have thrown out because I left the strainer in too long!

This bottle is significantly emptier than when I took this photo. I just had another swig.

Wolaver's India Pale Ale

I picked-up a mixed 12-pack of Organic Ale this weekend. I've only drank the IPA, but I'm finding it quiet good. Exceptionally strongly hopped. I think this will satisfy all but the stoutest 'hop-heads'.

Recommended.

I shall report on the Brown Ale and Pale Ale later.

Despite this foray into 'organic ale', I'm not ready for a lifestyle change. I don't think I'll be taking my meals at the Whole Foods food court, buying a Prius, or a Mac. Lager is lager. (Despite its somewhat central place in my life.)
