Nashoba Mead

I've never had much mead. Now, I know why people stopped drinking it and started drinking lager.

Had 3 or 4 Shiner Bocks earlier... and it was quite nice. First time really drinking beer to just drink and enjoy it. It really is an acquired taste, and my previous experience simply consisted of Paulaner Salvator.

Yesterday I had a couple of shots while eating a fresh white peach. My head asplode. It was sooooo good. Two great tastes that taste great together.

Really? I love peaches and laphroaig, but would never think they'd go together.

I was quite shocked. Either that or I am more of a bohemian heathen than I suspected.

i feel sorry for all you non-Canadians when i drink these...

Palo Santo Marron by Dogfish Head. It's excellent, with a nuanced, malty flavor and a pleasant aftertaste. If you ever go to the east coast of the United States, I recommend tracking down some Dogfish. Their beers tend to be fairly bold and experimental, but they have yet to try one I didn't like. Their 60/90/120 minute IPAs and Raison D'Etre are personal favorites.

I've tried some Skullsplitter lately. Packs a surprising punch, with a nice balanced taste at cellar temperature to room temperature.

Had two Long Island Ice-tea's and a Corona (Extra, not light) at the place. Home now, doublin' up on the Singha.

Waitress brings second Long Island and sez: "I think I made it wrong. I think it has too much alcohol in it."

To be exact, I've imbibed 375ml of Seagram's® 7 whiskey with 946ml of Monster Energy drink since my last post.

Phillip's Blue Buck. A rather pleasant beer for a warm summer afternoon, by one of the better local micro-brews. Formerly Blue Truck. Never did find out why the changed it. Possibly to make it more enviromentally friendly?

I think I'm up to about a fifth of Seagram's® 7 whiskey and fucked the Monster Energy drink and am now peeing into a plastic milk jug.

Got some Kiwi Sauv Blanc called King Shag. How the hell can you pass that up?

A nice cold Corona.

It's refreshing when it's warm out.

Now if I could just get the dog to lie down instead of breathing on me, I might get comfy.
