Absinthe. I'm glad its band in most socially concious western countries. The stories I could tell.

Tooheys Extra Dry Platinum

It's in tiny skinny 300 mL cans, about the diameter of Red Bull cans, which makes my hand look a bit like Andre the Giant's in this shot.

Not bad, but I prefer its less expensive brother Tooheys Extra Dry. But these were on special. They do pack a deceptive wallop.

Wailing Wench Ale

Extremely hoppy American Ale. Excellent copper color. Lots of body. High alchohol(8%), but not hot. However, like many American IPAs, totally OTT with the hops.

This is drinkable, but there is better out there.

Good color. However very mild, Not really in the spirit of Oktoberfest.

Dogfishhead's Chateau Jiahu

Well, its brewed. Its a rice beer with lots of fruity flavor. No hops. Low to no carbination. No head. Wink 8% alchohol. More like a wine then beer, but not like Barley Wine at all.
