I got me mum to buy be a Mike Mcgill board all tricked out with ribs and I forget the name of the nose and tail plastic protectors but it was the biggest poser thing I ever did in my life

I remember I was trying to impress some older kids who could ride and I was permanently like an unbalanced grape aboard that tank...

I thought I could buy the ability to skate...

It was such an embarrassingly impactful experience in my life that that one time was the only time I ever tried to buy understanding.

I don't remember exactly what the board looked like anymore...I seem to remember it was like a black version of this one...

I have no idea why I felt like sharing that...

I remember somewhere when those two nonstop posting puds, uber and whatever his name was were in the height of their noisiness distraction I tried to publicly post some of my heads names...

I can't find that post now but I remember trying to remember them all and I couldn't.

I've gone through too many computers and too many clean installs in my years here to remember them all.

But I'd say in total since I came here in February of 2004 I've got at least close to 10,000 posts.

Maybe I will once again shed a head to celebrate 1000 posts and one year here.

Waking up from a nap. Figured out a friend dropped me from facebook. Maybe she shouldn't get her news from Fox and it won't be so easy to point out when she is wrong?

She is a big girl, she will get over it. I will add her back and tell her she is a moron when I see her.

I checked in on my friend from little league via facebook as well. He went a very different path than I did. Princeton, then China. Writer. Doing the whole northeast intellectual thing I gather. I flipped through his family pics and am trying reconcile how living in China and Thailand can be made to look SOOOO boring?

Got schoolwork to do and grilling to start and all I want to do is crawl back in bed with the Girl for another 30 minutes.

I hear the baby waking from her nap in the next room. Got to go.

The girl sent me on an errand.

'Do they have places that sell firecrackers yearround?" she asked.

My eyes lit up and she quickly added, 'I just want a pack of sparklers for the baby. Don't go spending $50.'

This is the south after all. There are three fireworks stores in town. I went to the nearest and after registering and showing ID I was able to browse the aisles. I got a prepackaged mortar and a multi shot aerial thingy. Double that since they are always 2 for 1 at these places. Since I spent just over $50 I got a pack of firecrackers too. On the way out I remembered to grab a pack of sparklers.

Sweet Jesus, Mary mother of God... What is happening to this country? What do you mean by registering and when the fuck did they make you start showing ID? When you can't freely buy fireworks in Florida you know something is fucked with America.
