celery - crunchy, lots of fiber and it takes more calories to chew and digest than your body can get from it

every saturday, as kids, we would visit my gran. one of her daughters lived next door. we would go through there, her sons were older, and had the atari and all that kind of stuff. so for several hours every weekend we'd play all the games. before going back through to gran's for dinner, eaten while watching knight rider, a-team, or air wolf, which ever was showing in that slot at the time. even so never really carried on to buy gear/games myself.

Celery... yes.
But I can't picture myself coming to the office with celery in my bag.

celery is one of those tastes i find particularly unpleasant - though not as bad as G****c, but better not to mention that again.

The taste is not too overwhelming.

i never ment to imply or suggest that it would be plesent, just that it would be a good way to keep ones stomach from rumbling

Especially when eating a nice large piece of meat...
and suddenly you find a piece of garlic that someone added in 'for the taste'.

and to think the amount of abuse i got last time

And then all the meat around the garlic bit is corrupted by the taste.

i stayed with a guy who used g*c when cooking, and he would stink the entire house out!

G***** is ok in moderation.

Dislike of it isn't grounds for abuse, though - those meanies.

And if you happen to unnoticingly bite into the bit of garlic...
Then you're screwed.
