I am going to be going to Dragon*Con this year for the very first time. I wanted to see if any area wigbers were planning on attending or wanted to come for a little meat while I am there.
I was surprised to find a decent selection of writers and actors from some good series will be there as guests this year. If you go you might get the chance to see me dressed as Marv from Sin City too and you can make fun of me for the rest of your days for being a con dork. |

I went to DragonCon in 1997. We went for the parties. Unfortunately, there weren't any as they spread the con over several hotels and had put a clamp down on the parties.
We wound about buying drugs from a seedy character who took us in the ghetto. Everyone puked on Tequila. I hurt my ankle climbing a fence. |

Jeez Uber your past is darker than I anticipated. We have a room at the Marriot which is connected to th Hyatt where the con is, we missed out on a room at the Hyatt. heh- hotlanta, I remember seeing that advertising, I thought it funny because I am typically there when it is cold as hell. We are still trying to con our way into a room at the hyatt, although it may involve me doing sexual favors for a Klingon. Well if it gets me a better room. |

So I got around to posting on the NGB. I also checked out the menstrual hut thread I had heard so much about that my friend aitapata started.
Scary. Reminds me that although I love the outside I don't envy women having to deal with all that weird stuff they have going on inside. |

Anne McCaffrey is a good co-author and author of young adult fiction (Specifically for girls). Plus, her daughter's a hottie. As an adult, I find her writing to be BLAH. Still, her value is not zero.
