If usage is of a grammatic term is subtly subjective, it will devolve according to phonemic disintegration.

Which is why 'whom' is being absorbed by who.

(And that deserves to be an impact phrase, dammit.)

Anybody else ever listen to the ' Grammar Girl "?

Actually quite funny in parts she has a wonderful voice. I generally dislike podcasts but I enjoy listening to her.

I can't say it has improved my spotty grammar though.

The gunfire around us makes it hard to hear. But the human voice is different from other sounds. It can be heard over noises that bury everything else. Even when it's not shouting. Even when it's just a whisper. Even the lowest whisper can be heard - -over armies... when it's telling the truth.

I'd argue that grammar is intersubjective rather than subjective. Maybe.

Dutch people or those who know Dutch: My best guess is that 'voorwerp' (object) is pronounced something like 'foorverp'. Close enough/any help?
