I'm reminded of the last time I saw Leo Kottke play. He's a big one for storytelling between songs, during songs, instead of songs, etc., and he related the story of how his label had tried to get him to do a Christmas album. "Many of you," he told us, "I assume, are here after all these years precisely because I have never done a Christmas album."
