But by posting a comic the whole archive is accessible anyway, thus my request to keep it singular.

I feel certain there's more, always is.

I think the Myth is kinda right here. By posting a specific strip, yes the archive becomes available, but also you present your choice at a more personal level. Each strip tries to make a point. Like you guys post strips in the art thread all the time. Why there and not here?

This way it's easier for someone unnaquainted with the specific story to get a footing. Archives are so impersonal. A whole lot of choices that you don't know where to start from and simply give up without even trying.

Remember people are lazy( at least I am). They do not wish to chose. Example from a posting higher up this thread:
This I liked, good introduction, makes me wanna dig on my own. Or not. Dude, it's the individual joke that matters. Post a different strip from the same artist every day.
Catch my drift?

So chatsubo and all you guys and gals would have a spot to post comic material including comedians and panels from comic books you thought were the shite.

I agree. I prefer the whole storyline and
development of the entire album. OTOH, I do have
my favorites. I think knowing the context makes my
favorites that much more enjoyable.

yay! NINJ4s!

In that case...here's some audio from the man that I believe to be the funniest guy working clubs today (it's really dirty; fair warning):

Louis CK on Hell:

And my favorite comic in Boston, Tony Moschetto:

I've seen both those guy's on Conan O'Brian(I am a rabid fan) and they are both pretty damn funny though I prefer Louis Black type stuff. Been a big fan of stand up for awhile even did a little at Gotham in NYC once. Didn't get booed. That's my claim to fame... I didn't get booed.

That's better than some can claim! And if you ever get a chance to see Louis in a small club, run, don't walk. I've been in comedy clubs 4 nights a week for the last 11 years, and watching him live is a truly cosmic experience.

I try and go to as many as I can. Hmmmn, he should have a comic strip. Or do a strip comedy contest. Maybe not.

I just noticed that this one is entitled "he took a
hamster in the face..."

Why does that sound familiar? Wink

I like how this thread did have a 5 star rating(not that it deserved it) but now it mysteriously dosn't. Who would feel the need to change it and why? Is there a playa hater here on the board? Could it possibly be someone who complained of my threads' high ratings in the past? Perhaps someone whos threads never get rated highly?

[OT]I have never used the rating system on this board and I doubt I ever will. I regard thread ratings as an utter wank, unworthy of my attention - who's with me![/OT]

Not online - but here's a couple of Bristow strips I have pinned to the work-station.

Bristow is storming round his office, very angry.
Bristow: In a minute I'm going to pick this chair up and throw it through that damned window!!! And then I'm going to smash everything in sight!!!
Speaker on the wall: And now some soothing music for anyone suffering from desk rage...

Bristow and Jones are sunbathing on the beach.
Bristow: Jones, this anxiety you have about time is quite normal... Speaking as one who dabbles in psychology I can assure you the feeling is commonplace... Putting it simply, everyone has a gnawing anxiety ticking away at the back of their mind like an unexploded bomb..

As a child, I never got Bristow. I get it now.

Calm down. And for pete's sake use capital letters at the start of a sentence would you, I don't even care if you spell correct, but at least use a capital letter every once in awhile Big Grin
At least you use them for my name, thank you, I know that took effort Razz
