It looks nothing like an Akubra (the Cattleman is the standard Akubra I'm referring to.)

Appears to have that wimpy trim around the edge of the bream.

Called brim binding. And lots of Akubras have it now. One of the purposes of it is to prevent the brim deforming. Since Akubra uses pretty low grade rabbit felt, they need it more than anyone. And there are other models of Akubras which that hat could be. But it depends on the frame you look at. It could be a Squatter, it could be a Campdraft... but it depends on the frame. Hell, it could be a fucking Smokey the Bear campaign hat in some frames.

I know there's a robot in it. The artificially intelligent robot is far more believable than that fucking hat.

I'd love to get into this discussion regarding the correct depiction of a fucking hat but I got distracted by a bunch of people getting blown up in afghanistan today, or maybe iraq, or africa.

I forget, anyway, someone was talking about a hat or something??

Oh, here's a cartoon

And your incredibly useful life has contributed what to their welfare lately? I forgot we were only supposed to get excited about new colors of ipods. Please, by all means, shower us with social responsibility.

Well, there's an retired Gurkha serviceman in Nepal with a better quality of life thanks to me. And a few maimed and traumatised British soldiers who are getting help due to my financial efforts. Apart from that I'm just fucking up the planet along with everyone else.

Oh, here's another cartoon for you all.

Christ, I don't know how we can live with ourselves knowing we popped in here to check out comics before making our own contributions to the Gurkhas. I promise, I won't even think about hats or comics again until I've bought a retired Gurkha a cup of coffee. Thank you for setting us straight.
