quote:
how much power does the PHP script take?

The script is very light.
It takes one or two seconds for each run.

Request for consideration in future rev
Even as a "secure twitterer" it'd be cool to have the option to kick some stuff on to the board, like that TEDTalk thing I just posted. Perhaps a future version could follow secure tweets but only pass on #wg-tagged items?

BTW, it is pretty damn cool that you got this to work at all. I'm impressed as hell! Smile

Something is still wrong with the way the bot retrieves the timeline.

It works fine from my computer, but not from theminx's server.

Probably an older version of PHP.

I'm disabling the bot until I can figure this out.

@LillyLyle Cycles make noise! more noise than electric cars. Chains, gears, bouncing things. Enough for humans to hear. Prius, not so much.

@bittersweetdb It would be better to have flashing lights or something on the cars then, instead of noisemakers

@LillyLyle I think humans react more quickly to sound than to visual stimulus. Hence fire alarms are audible. Also sound is 360°, sight not.

Kind of nice being able to check Twitter and the board simultaneously. Now all the WGB needs is a Tim Horton's.
