I liked it. A lot.

But I decided to discuss the contents over in random thoughts. (Where "discuss" is used in the loose sense that includes "blather on to nobody in particular and be ignored.")

I put the interview up on YouTube: Spook Country - William Gibson

If anything about this isn't cool with you Tiger or Mr G,
please let me know Tiger and I'll take it down immediately.

I have to ask. What made you take that initiative?

Hi Tiger68!

It looks like the link to the Blog on the starting page got messed up.

I think the offending code is the last line below:
 <td width="96" height="66"><a href="blog/blog.asp" onMouseOver="document.blog.src='images/home/nav_blog_on.jpg';"
onMouseOut="document.blog.src='images/home/nav_blog.jpg';">
<img src="images/home/nav_blog.jpg" name="blog" width="96" height="66" border="0"
usemap="#blogMap"></a></td>

Conflicting code between the link itself and the #blogMap which points to "#". So although the link shows up in the bottom of the browser when you mouse over it doesn't actually work when you click it. At least not in this little obscure browser I use called IE7.0 Smile

For some reason I read that as "Alberta" first, and was deeply confused about which part of the world DT thought of as "The South."

Hope he makes it to St. Louis. At the very least, Chicago. I'd consider making that drive. . . if it was on a weekend. . . hmm. . .

I can't imagine he's coming to Arizona, but I might be able to make a trip to Los Angeles since my parents live near there. *crosses fingers for Phoenix, anyway*

Of course I was all ready to goto DC (closest to me) for the Pattern Recognition book tour and a freaking huge snow storm prevented me from making the trip. Maybe it will work out for me this time. I just hope there is something close to North Carolina.
