This was an administrative glitch, not a change in policy.

As many have mentioned, this board has been largely self-censoring, and I would like to see it remain that way.

Glad that it was just an administrative glitch. Lord knows that those easily occur.

Two good things about this "scandal"
1) My boycot prevented me from posting while drunk on New Year's Eve
2) It reminded me to renew my membership to the ACLU

well, happily it turns out that this wasn't that big of a deal.
thanks tiger68 for leaping in to save the day.
i have had experiences in the past where i was unduly censored.
a small art show i was not permitted to display at comes to mind,
as do a handful of others.
