To avoid any further misunderstandings regarding future Photogallery posts, I'd advise Tiger68 (who is here now) to make a statement about posting new and large picture threads in this section.
Thank you.

There really shouldn't be a problem with posting photos, now or moving forward. Space has been freed up with the autoarchiving, and
I am looking at upgrading our plan. I was just trying to head off any questions about why older material went into archive.

Thanks

It's not a bug. It's a feature.

Some UBB-trivia for all.

Did you know that the archived topics reveal a user's post count at the date of the archiving.
M had 1000 posts, I had 1501.

The things you can discover here. :-)

if you didn't work in a library, [insert thinly-veiled jealousy here] i'd tell you to quit your job for the lucrative business of online detective.

speaking of lucrative, anyone ever notice how much money there is to be made in dead bodies?

Man...What an old thread...By now, you'd think that the bits and bytes situation should be on auto. I have 2 gigs on my 11.95 hosted Yahoo site....

Maybe you should look into something like that...

Notably - The problems with space have been resolved as I have resolved to post and quote...

There really is a lot of work out there.

It's good that I learned how to Blog from this site, or I'd still be inventing coded pages.

What a bi6ch that was....

Oh ok. Thought there was a special place. So I guess this one's yours. Cool.

Thanx!

@ tiger68

As autoarchiving is now somethng that lays in the past, how did the upgrading plans go?
What is the new spec?

The board is still growing fast.

After selling our soul to Groupee, all those problems are part of the past. So far the problems of the present have not been so hard to live with.

Although some Mac users may disagree.

I was happy with Mac OS 9.2.2 but Groupee did not work with it at all. I had no option but to give up using this board for almost a year until I had moved to OS X. So yep, not an entirely smooth transition there...
