Camel-Dog Flake-savor? Am I to understand that this is a snack flavored like camel and dog dandruff?

Splitcoil, come visit me! I'd love to take you to a Danish supermarket or just walk down the street with you. I'd love to see your reaction to the æøå-scape surrounding you.

Camel-Dog Flake-savor! Smile

Eventually, the wife and I will get to Germany for an extended vacation, and I think it would be nice to make a quick trip to Flake-savor land for a visit with the world's foremost fashion enforcement agency.

Don't expect me to eat that camel dandruff, though. Smile

Only if they're recommended by the locals. I usually limit my eating of animals to the tissues found beneath the skin.

I'm using Firefox 1.0.4 with Windows XP,
and since yesterday, I can't post anymore.

The Reply button calls javascript(void),
end the other one tells me I4m not logged in.

Does anybody else have this problem?

Have you checked to see if it's allowing pop-ups?
Maybe a Groupee problem?

It would warn me if it blocked a popup.
It's probably a Groupee popup.
It worked fine, a few weeks ago, and I was using the same browser.

Anyway : I have found out that can still login, and then use the quick reply button.

I know it's been requested before, but a way to ignore users (e.g., trolls) would be appreciated.

Aw, but then no one'd talk to me...

DP's got a point though. Some sort of selective thingy where we can block the posts of certain people.

Same here. And one question Arkan. You've been postion from elsewhere, no? Been cheating on the machine, dude? How you're going to face it when it's all fixed?
Enough.

I don't get the pages under the topics in News of the day & Current Issues. Anyone else's got the same problem or is it just me?

[thinks]I asked the exact same thing about the little green men I keep seeing in my living-room but no-one answered[/thinks]

Mozilla 1.3.1 started behaving erratically- typing an URL and pressing enter wouldn't initiate access, it's needed to drag the URL to the window so it loads, control/option keys weren't realiable, Reply button would be dead, etc., all this after accesing the WGB. Installed (by sheer mistake, in fact) an earlier version of Mozilla and it all works OK again.
Except for one thing, and this happens in all Moz versions, IE and Safari: trying to attach an image to a post brings an "attachment filetype accepted only: text" complaint and image (JPG, GIF) isn't accepted.

might it be worth amending the Terms of Use to suggest that cut-and-paste jobs over say 200 lines are unacceptable? Not that they take up a huge amount of server space, being mostly text, but given enough of them... and it's not as though anyone reads them...

That was Infopop speaking. Thinking about it, I really like their amazement that I was ever able to log on to this site at all.

When I try log on with the Macs at work, the lights go dim and I shut the network down. Not so good, especially for a freelancer. I now go to the internet cafe run by Woody the mad anthroposophist who uses the Web to fight Ahriman, the evil spirit of technology. Pow!

Me too.
For at least half an hour all I got from
williamgibsonboard.com/groupee/forums was page not found; nomatter what variation I used.

And I've learnt to be skillfull with time.
Sometimes I get on the blog and try links from the man quoting us. Takes me to pages that shouldn't be busy. Even that didn't work today...
