Yeah - PROBABLY!

Hey, let's not play the blame game.

Personally I'd rather posts were locked after a certain period than whole threads, but I guess there's no chance of that if this is a space-saving measure.

It would help to know.

I can't post a new discussion in the News section. A poll, yes; a photo album yes. And I can post a new discussion in the other sections just fine.

Somebody trying to tell me something...

Tried to access the board via firefox from the sunset cafe this evening, and received the following message:

OK, let me View Certificate...
Hm.

Looks like there was a DNS problem on the Groupee login page all morning (GMT).

I sometimes wonder if posts are shown immediately or collected somewhere else andjoint in later. Every now and then I stumble upon a post I could have sworn that it wasn't there yesterday. Does anybody know this?

Hi, my company firewall is now blocking access to accounts.groupee.com. This means I have to do a tedious dial-up to make any postings.

Is there any way you could change this? Like have me always logged on and verified?

TIA

Yes. I got cookies. But for some reason (probably because the firewall blocked something) last week, every time I clicked "Reply" it went into this attempt to re-groupee me, which failed, presumably, because of the firewall.

Mysteriously, all is well this week. So maybe the Groupee validator was down and it wasn't the firewall at all.

Or, perhaps, someone at Groupee did a fix for me!

I'm grateful, anyway.

Damn! The Gibson Sightings Thread has been closed.

Found this photo of Michael, Bill and Doug at the Douglas Coupland Yahoo group.

I had a number of moments of frustration trying to get here, from around 7:30 Pacific Time. Was it just me?
