Seriously, thanks for the reminder. I've asked about this as an upgrade in the past and will do so again now. If it's not a great cost, we'll do it.

Checked with Groupee, and it is not a question of cost. Groupee does not offer a post preview option at this time. They might(according to them) offer this in a future update.

Funny-- I was fumbling around looking for a Preview post this morning-- I think the first time I wanted one (trying to post from a Mozilla Add-on called Clipmark or something -- didn't know how it would work). (It didn't.)

Apologies if this is a known issue.

In 'Random Thoughts', clicking on a thread title will take me to the latest posts in that thread, no matter how long it is. In 'News of the Day', on the other hand, clicking on the thread title takes me to the first page of the thread, meaning I have to click again to get to the new posts at the end of the thread. I've observed this in Safari and Firefox on the Mac and Firefox on the PC. It'd be much more convenient if 'News...' behaved like 'Random...'

That's odd, I seem to remember something like that a loooong time ago, but right now everything is behaving as I remember in both forums:

From the top page clicking on the displayed title of the most recently active thread for a forum takes me to the end of the thread.
From either Random Thoughts or News, clicking the title of the thread takes me to the first post in the thread.
From either Random Thoughts or News, clicking the name of the most recent poster to the thread takes me to the last post in the thread.

Firefox 2.0.0.2 on XP.

Maybe it's fixed already?

Yeah, but there is no page count in News so you can't click on the last page, or any for that matter, and be directed to the top of that page. It's either the first page of the last post.

And another thing for Tiger, maybe it's time to change the answer to "When is your next novel coming out" in the FAQ, no?
