Thanks to all of your great posts, we have filled up all the disk space allotted to us for the WG board. Starting tomorrow, I am going to auto archive material that's older than 120 days. You will still be able to access the older posts, but you will not be able to respond to them or start a thread from one of the old messages. It was either that or completely delete posts over a year old, and I didn't want to do that.
If there's 2839 registered users, and if you estimated 800 postings average per user, and estimated 4kb per posting, we'd have used ~10Mb (it's big in Neuromancer terms). But then there's the galleries. Maybe someone is using the WGB to host pron?

----------------------------- "It may be said with rough accuracy that there are three stages in the life of a strong people. First, it is a small power, and fights small powers. Then it is a great power, and fights great powers. Then it is a great power, and fights small powers, but pretends that they are great powers, in order to rekindle the ashes of its ancient emotion and vanity. After that, the next step is to become a small power itself." --GK Chesterton, "Heretics"

The board currently allows us 250 MB of storage. I got the message because we had used 256 MB of disk space. As I metioned, no posts will be deleted, but they will go into auto archive after 120 days. Thanks
Deleted some of my horrendously large pictures. I'll now go back and delete half the characters in all my posts. Should save space without really impacting comprehension.
Hey Tiger, you might want to ping the FAQ. It's been autoarchived, and is thus available for Members Only.
