is out of the question - not that I wouldn't make the eight hour drive to denver if my car had more than one working gear. Kansas is always out of the question. But William S Burroughs lived here! He wrote his last few books here! There's a Burroughsian Kami now! (well, there could be) (Hic) Ex Machina Libertas (Duh)

Do I need to make a reservation at all with the Los Angeles bookstore? I am flying in from Japan and I would hate to be turned away? Will they have copies of the book ready or should I purchase one in advance?
I know most stores are open to visitors and have books to be bought and signed, but sometimes they don't. I don't want to end up disappointed if I am going to go all the way there and not get my book.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Best regards, Made in DNA

I would just e-mail the store at booksoup@aol.comI'm sure they can answer any questions you have.

Any chance the book tour will make it down south? Anywhere down south?

Mr. Gibson, please take note...you have admirers in the State of Texas including Austin and Houston. You should consider adding a stop or two in Texas to your book signing tour.

Tiger, Would it be a possibility if maybe Mr. Gibson could sell a couple signed copies of PR online for the discussion board members? That way the people caught too far from a book signing could grab something too.
Thanks for your time,
Tine

Milwaukee. Everyone should go to Milwaukee. Well, William Gibson should, at least. Maybe, just maybe, this winter we'll have snow!!

Hello Tinesthai: The usual practice during these signing tours is that the author signs some extra copies for each store. My suggestion would be that you e-mail or call a store where Mr. Gibson will be appearing, and ask them to reserve a signed copy for you. They can then mail you your copy. Hope that helps.
