Although I still don't get the title, I do rather like the cover.
I can't say why, though...

If you try to translate the page using Google translator, the tables gets messed up, the text disappears and the page looks like the side of a shipping container!

That is a rather nice cover, isn't it? (Although... it does have a bit of a skater vibe, initially.) The one for Pattern Recognition isn't all that bad either, although I think the heavily made up woman's face gives a slightly off impression.

OMG! You're right! I noticed that even before I inserted the text into the translator!

Jeebus! Maybe you should write to the German publisher and tell them that they should consider changing that!

Cayce would never wear that much makeup, not even for a meeting. Dorothea doesn't use blue eye shadow - it must be Nora!

I find both, title and cover rather unfitting, not to say misleading.

I wonder if the marketing guys who came up with it have actually read the books. Maybe they should.

It's ridiculous to put a spoiler like that on the front of the book. It's like these tv miniseries, where the "in our next episode" section at the end, or the warm-up section at the beginning, they reveal all the best bits of the forthcoming plot in such detail that it's hardly worth watching. Stupid.

hmm. surprised no one else has suggested it. but perhaps the woman on the pattern recognition cover is supposed to be woman from the footage? that is my first impression seeing it. the spook cover is bemusing.
