It is fun, isn't it?

Spook Country Variation: Communications Bay

This time, I grabbed an image of the stained glass TV from the Cathedral of St. John the Divine's website, and layered it over a picture I took of some New York buildings (taken while across from a Mondrian at MOMA). Font is Univers Condensed and Bold Condensed.

Fantastic Justy Wink It would be a half an order or so magnitude harder but making it appear as though the windows on the actual building are the stained glass seems pretty sweet.

No shit! I'm not sure that geometry is strictly, well, possible for a staircase...

That's a fantastic image, Gringo. I'm all jealous. Smile

(half-jokingly: so when do we found the WGB design studios anyway?)

I do owe a nod & an apology to MCE, although I think I was thinking of Borges & Villa Straylight when I snapped the photos & composed the image. I like Gringo's a LOT.

I like it, but then (as you can probably tell from my ideas), I'm a fan of "simple." Yours definitely works, RP.

I'm currently photoshop/illustrator-less, but this might be a good, minimalist cover picture. Anyone want to give it a once-over?

I personally like the monochrome of the image, with the one little red dot as the only color in the picture. And there's something just RIGHT about the way the cord is placed.

Yeah. That happened to me, once.

That one's very nice, Hasa. Maybe you should make the text a little brighter, though.

Yeah, I agree. Too spooky. People would think it's a horror story or something.
Btw Where's that 'are you my mummy?' from?

You're right. Brighter is better.

Not sure if I picked the right colour, though.

The Christopher Eccleston Doctor Who episode "The Empty Child" (a two parter). Damn creepy.

I ahven't a clue about Photoshop-- I can just to say handle the Gimp for redcing the scale of my pictures, is all.

But I agree: this one's clean and sharp.
Are you thinking Big Brother Watching You?
