quote:
...Cayce had never been a person who had hobbies. Obsessions, yes. Worlds. Places to retreat to.

I have been thinking about obsessions a lot lately - which is why this quote appealed to me so much. I realised that I see my life as a series of obsessions and am generally only attracted to people with obsessions.

So my question is: What are your obsessions?

Kind of uppity to ask someone else to look inside and reveal their own obsession when you didn't even articulate your own.

But here's one of my many: I obsess about other peoples grammar and punctuation while totally ignoring these things in my own writing, I'm the guy that finds a spelling mistake in the middle of a toshiba catalogue and gleefully runs from person to person showing them. Perhaps I hope someday someone will care, I don't know. NEXT.

Are you hitting on me?

First: sorry that this is under a different name - I forgot my password yesterday and so registered anew and posted under a different name.

Second: Fair point about not putting my own obsessions out first.

They are currently: Pilates, running, and scanning job ads for alternative existences.

In the past, they have included: planning the perfect overseas trip, obsessively strict veganism, sci fi/fantasy novels, and kung fu.
