Marko, Thanks for posting the link to the William Gibson interview.

I am a minor collector of his interviews and thankful for every one I can get.

Mark that was a fantastic interview. You got some very cool insights there. I especially love what he said about how he views current events and wonders what kind of history they'll make.
He made me laugh when he was talking about Cayce's sensitivity to certain brands and he said we all have them to a point, "We don't break out in hives, but I think we experience sometimes a kind of sub-clinical nausea from marketing." Made me think of my 5 year old son. He simply cannot watch a Barbie commercial. He will cover his eyes and try to cover his ears so he won't hear it either. It's funny and I have no idea where he got it from. He just on his own decided that Barbie is possibly the most revolting thing in the world and just bristles at sight of anything related to it. I don't know that I have this ruvulsion for any kind of product, but definitely for some Pop Music stars. Christian Aguilara, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey...all raise an involuntary lump in my throat.
But anyway, I'm rambling. Great interview though! Thanks for the link.

Me and my friend have quite the reaction the pre movie corporate ident Regal Cinemas shows right before a film begins... It's a very badly lit and rendered CGI film in which you're on a roller coaster flying past enormous boxes of Twizzlers and popcorn kernels - mid explosion. There's something about the multi channel sound and how viciously kinetic they're pressing the concession stand on you that we literally always cover our eyes during it.

I always tend to cringe when you see everyone raise their hands and sway when watching this. I feel so embarassed for them.

HAHAHA you too!?!?!

I get mixed emotions:P I can't figure out whether I want to just flip out on the entire theatre for being such dorks or if I should give an apology to the rest of the theatre who is not doing it :P

I normally don't do anything. I think nit picking before the movie will anger the movie-gods and cause them to have all the babies and cellphones simultaneously cry out in the middle of the movie.

Its good to know there is someone else out there who gets embarrassed for other people :P
