Of course, the whole feel would have to be less flirtatious, more mysterious and wistful...but it's the timeless clothes and mysterious blurry figures that I like.

This is more what I imagine, but there are still too many details that date and ID the players....but still....sort of a "this could be anyone, anytime" feel...

As you said there are way too many effects in the tango one.
And I'd like the leaked date more if it were B&W.

In terms of video quality I like to imagine the footage being something like the cursed videotape from "The Ring", not content-wise though, obviously ;-)
