Thanks, Gil -- I may just do (did) that.

Being a compulsive video hoarder, I've seen a lot of places with small snippets of video collages, like the Moment Factory I posted about on another thread; many places with 'arty' or experimental stuff, which supposedly would be where one could find the 'real' footage.
No luck so far, save for a couple clips, and I guess they were unitentional...


This couple frames come from a clip of that 'stun-jacket' that was in the news a year or so ago. The scene zooms in to the small spark on the jacket. No soundtrack but a buzzing sound; the blank expression on the model's face, the bare background... *almost* there. Haunting, and the fact this is a personal defense item, right out of the Sprawl, really does it for me.



This another, which I forgot where did I get, was from some tickling/massage robot prototype advertising campaign. The model, again, is motionless. The little gizmo roams over her back, and senses the edge, so its backtracks. Like a small insect. No sound, no camera motion.

This is a public ftp directory, and can be anonymous, so you use any username and you don't need any password, and that's where people are expecting footage to turn up.

If you have trouble with that, email them to me at 'gil at amazonsystems dot co dot uk' (oops I nearly wrote the real one there for spammers!), and I'll do it.
