[The reason why I've got all these PR-related questions is I just reread it after reading Spook Country. I'm hoping there will be a third book in what I can't stop myself from thinking as the Blue Ant trilogy -- and when that comes out, I'll read them all, but again, probably in backwards order.]
So, what about Win's four possible EVP messages (p. 184)? The first message -- "grocery store... the tower of light" -- seems to refer to the dream Cayce has on 226, in which her father appears and tells her "the boy's no good"; the fourth, on "the bone... In the head," seems to be a comment on Nora's injury. But what about the other two? The second ("One hundred and...") could refer to the number of film segments (135 by the end of the book, with one more on its way), or the currency she gets from Volkov, but still... And the third ("Cold here... Korea"), I got nothing of any substance. Any ideas been knocked around the forum in my absence? |

I think there is also one EVP message that says "core error". And then there's Cayce's closest brush to EVP "She's poisoned the water. Scream!" I like that whole scene but one of my friends hates it because she can't believe Cayce would be so stupid as to drink the water that Dorotea gives her. I try to explain Cayce's naivety away as being extemely exhausted.
