I have a nearly new Buzz Rickson jacket, which I will send to one of you for no charge providing the winner pledges money to charity.

The jacket is a B15D and the size is 42 inches (chest measurement). A B15D is hard to distinguish from an MA1 unless you're an expert. The B15D is rarer. It is sage green in colour. I have had it for two years. It orginally cost GBP285. The jacket is in great condition. I had to repair some stitching inside on pocket and I wiped of "US Airforce" from the sleeve - I think Cayce would have approved.

If you want this jacket then send an email to me saying how much you will pledge, naming the charity which will receive your money, and the reason why you like that charity. I favour charities to do with the environment and Africa, but I will be very flexible.

I'll pick the response I like the best, ask you for a mailing address, send the jacket, and trust you to fulfil your pledge.

Hopefully, this gives one of you something you really want, helps the world a little, and creates a bit more space in my cluttered flat.

I must admit to being a bit nervous walking back from the post depot around the security cordon around the Sheperds Bush crime scene with a package with a bomber jacket in it. I'm just glad a policeman didn't ask me what was in the package.
