I think it's kinda relevant that Pattern Recognition is a very human skill, one computers have struggled with for years & never 100% solved. Extrapolating connections between pieces of data is the basis of AI, another tech we've only stumbled around so far ... PR's a process which, in my experience, LSD & the like tends to turn off the higher level of...akin to the state back before your own personal PR got so deeply rooted...

This would manifest itself in conversely seeing/making more patterns - of both the hallucinatory & connectionistkinds. But these I feel are unfiltered patterns/connections, the raw rush of more data, less processing...
