Don't know why I didn't google that up years ago, but according to Wikipedia a Blue Ant is, despite its name and its appearance, not an ant at all, but rather a species of large solitary parasitic wasp sometimes known as a flower wasp.

I always associate Blue Ant with the Ant-Zen record label, myself.
Many of their artists have been inspired by Gibson's work and I think I'd be safe hazarding a guess that he's aware of at least some of them, and Ant-Zen's position in the "avant-guard" music scene. check 'em out ______________________ "As our own species is in the process of proving, one cannot have superior science and inferior orals. Judging by the abundant thorax, we might know where the name Bigend came from?
In the beginning was the Blue Ant... Space must flow past the ports like wine from a pitcher |
