Threads, the original kind, either wind in tight spirals around a spool, unwind in same from a bobbin, and go up and down, sometimes sideways too, and often back and forth. For me, returning a thread to its titular point (let's call it a *nipple*, shall we?) is simply an invitation for new departure from same. Like Belushi hollering FOOD FIGHT!

Forgive me if this has already been discussed -- I couldn't find it anywhere.
At the end of Chapter 82, Tito says, "That's him." And the old man answers, "Yes, it is." They are talking about the driver of the tractor-truck hauling the turquoise container out of the city.
Who was it?? Somehow I missed that.

I believe it was Brown; Milgrim's captor\goon. I'm prepared to be wrong about that since I can't verify it.
