I NEVER saw punctation flaws in books when I was a kid. The books of the 30s through the 70s, the ones I grew up with, were *perfect* in that regard. Errors simply weren't permitted.
The paperback will be out in one year, probably, but the moment most of us are reading the book is now. So why not discuss those mistakes now, rather than try to find them in six months time.
ARC copies by definition should not be used. So far there are three versions out there but it may well be that the Viking International Paperback has the same page count as the hardcover. Please indicate page number, edition and chapter title, to make it easier to backtrack across editions. I use the Viking Hardcover.
So far I have seen two, but I usually notice these things on the second rather than the first reading.
The egregious Alejandro instead of Alberto that provoked MoMs comment (VH 202, Breakbulk).
Hollis rents a Passat (VH 132, The international currency of bad shit) but returns a Jetta (239, To give them the pleasure). Talk about a VW downgrade!
Bring them on!
