Someone sent me a copy of 13 Views of cardboard City this morning. In it Gibson references Piet Mondrian. Is his name where the LA Hotel took it's name from?

My old condo building downtown was called Mondrian. It was situated above the Contemporary Art Gallery. The building across the street is called Miro, and the one kitty-corner is called Gallery.
